What apartment cleaning costs
45 €/hour for one cleaner, 90 €/hour for two. Two-hour minimum, prices include VAT. We bring our own products and equipment.

Loppusiivous: what the landlord actually checks
Deposits are rarely withheld because a flat was dirty. They are withheld because a few specific spots were missed. These are the places a Finnish landlord looks at first.
- Oven interior, especially the bottom tray and the door glass
- Extractor hood and its grease filters
- Fridge and freezer inside, plus dust behind the unit
- Inside surfaces of cupboards and the tops of them
- Silicone seals and corners in the bathroom
- Under the rim of the toilet
- Windows from inside, frames and the gap between panes
- Floors under furniture
- Ventilation vents

Cleaning qualifies for the tax credit in full
Unlike moving work, cleaning counts as ordinary household work and qualifies for kotitalousvähennys without exception. PalveMax Oy is listed in the prepayment register.
For the 2026 tax year the credit is 35 % of the labour cost, up to 1 600 euros per person, less a 150 euro annual own-liability. The government has proposed raising this to 40 % and 2 100 euros for 2026–2027; as of July 2026 the bill had not passed.
Regular or one-off
A one-off clean suits a move, the aftermath of renovation, or having guests. A regular arrangement works out cheaper per hour over time, because work moves faster in a familiar home.

No. Leave the key with a neighbour or in an agreed place. We work unsupervised and let you know when the job is done.

Is it worth doing the end clean myself?▾
In a small flat that has been kept tidy, yes — allow 3–4 hours. In a large one, or after living there a long time, a professional costs less than a lost deposit, which is typically one to two months' rent.
